Hydraulic Basics - Pascal's Law

The very basics to the HYDRAULICS is pascal's law.  It is as..

Pascal's law:
"pressure exerted anywhere in a confined incompressible fluid is transmitted equally in all directions throughout the fluid such that the pressure ratio (initial difference) remains same."

All the hydraulic systems and applications works on this principle.. wanna see how???

  • We can even lift a car or any heavy object by giving very less effort.
  • We can lift a car with weight of a child.

Applications:
  • All Hydraulic machines and appliances as, Hydraulic disc brakes, Hydraulic press, Earth movers and many more applications.
  •  In Mechanical Engineering
  • In ship building technology.
  • Widely used in automobiles.
